Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff is hand selected to bring the most elite instruction and in-depth knowledge to the players. Experienced coaching teams will instruct all levels, providing instruction in individual skills as well as game theory and systems. The reinforcement of values necessary to mold a successful player such as hard work, respect, integrity and dedication to personal and team achievement is paramount From 1997 until 1999, Glenn worked for NH Monarch’s Head Coach and GM, Sean Tremblay’s Northern Collegiate Development Program, and also coached at Thornton Academy, in Saco, ME. From 1998 until 2005, Glenn owned and operated Scotia Hockey Shop, with locations in Biddeford, ME, Portland, ME and Falmouth, ME. In 2006, Glenn was hired as a coach for the newly formed Maine Moose Junior Hockey, where he worked until 2009 in the capacities of Head Coach and General Manager. While with the Moose, Glenn lead the team to the IJHL finals in 2007 and 2009. Glenn has been able to see his former players go on to play at the NCAA level with D1 schools University of Maine Orono, and Boston University, with D3 schools University of Southern Maine, University of New England, Southern New Hampshire University, Becker College, Framingham State, Assumption, Western New England University, and on to play Tier II junior A in the North American Hockey League and to the Finnish Tier II Professional hockey league in Varkaus Finland. Zac Gross - American born, Zac played his minor (MTHL) and junior (MTJHL) hockey in Toronto. Captaining three teams in six years and a four-time all star, Zac was also a member of the US Select Sixteen and Seventeen teams based at the Olympic training centers, winning a silver medal in Mexico City in 1995. After playing one year in the USHL, Zac earned a full scholarship to Quinnipiac College in its first year of Division I eligibility. Professionally, Zac has played in the IHL (Long Beach), WCHL (El Paso-team point leader), and European First Division (Villiard De Lans - team point leader). Francois Bourbeau (Goal Coach)- played at Middlebury College, winning four straight NCAA Division III National Championships before playing professionally in the WPHL. A Former goalie coach at Princeton University, Francois is currently the head coach at the Hun School.
